CEs

Care Providers of Minnesota is pleased to offer accredited continuing education for several professions. Learning opportunities are created to provide timely, creative, and enriching educational programs that qualify for professional boards’ accreditation.

Track & find your electronic CEs
We make it easy for attendees to track and find CEs earned through Care Providers of Minnesota programs...electronically! You can check your CEs earned from Care Providers of Minnesota on the Care Providers of Minnesota website. Log in with your username and password and go to your profile page (by clicking on the person icon in the upper right corner, between "shop" and the cart). From here, click on the "My CEs" tab and you can print certificates of attendance for individual programs or a report with your totals.

Professional Boards Accreditation
Each professional board has standards for continuing education accreditation and requirements for licensed professionals. All Care Providers of Minnesota education is designed to meet the standards for nursing home administrators, health services executives, and assisted living directors through Minnesota Board of Executives for Long-Term Services & Supports (BELTSS, formerly BENHA) and nurses through Minnesota Board of Nursing. Care Providers of Minnesota is also a pre-approved continuing education provider through the Minnesota State Board of Social Work and some learning opportunities meet those requirements.

In addition, at Care Providers of Minnesota’s annual Convention, specific breakout sessions are designed to meet standards for other professionals including dietitians, dietary managers, activity professionals, and attorneys. Details on Convention education accreditation is included in Convention website and materials.

To assist you, here are links to the most common accreditation boards’ continuing education requirements. Depending on your licensure and any specialties, you may have several requirements to meet.

View a recent press release from BELTSS on continuing education requirements for renewal.

Other Disciplines
All other disciplines are encouraged to keep track of their attendance for possible submission for CE credit to the appropriate agency for their discipline.
