NCAL announces Leader of the Year Award

The National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) Leader of the Year Award recognizes outstanding innovation, achievement, and capabilities in their provision of high-quality person-centered care in a service-oriented culture in an assisted living community.
This year’s winner, Melissa McCorquodale, exemplifies all these qualities and more. Nominated by her co-workers and peers, Melissa is recognized for not only being a servant leader at Good Samaritan Society–Pipestone–Ridgeview Estates Assisted Living to her fellow Good Samaritan communities, and the broader Pipestone community at large.
Residents, friends, and family gathered on Friday, July 17th to surprise Melissa with the news that out all the assisted living communities NCAL represents across the nation, she has been awarded the well-deserved honor of the NCAL Leader of the Year.
