Three Minnesota long-term care providers have been recognized with the 2026 Silver–Achievement in Quality Award from the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL), one of the nation's most respected quality recognition programs for long-term care organizations. These organizations are among a record-setting group of 255 providers recognized across 43 states. This is the highest number of Silver recipients to be recognized in the history of the Quality Award Program!

Metrics for Silver recipients over the years

The Silver Award is the second of three levels in AHCA/NCAL's National Quality Award Program. To reach this milestone, providers must demonstrate that they have successfully implemented systematic processes for performance improvement, leadership development, resident-centered care, and organizational excellence. Organizations earning Silver have already achieved Bronze-level recognition and must show measurable results from their quality improvement efforts.

These Silver Award recipients will be recognized at the October AHCA/NCAL national convention in Boston, as well as at our own convention in November:
  • Good Samaritan Society–Brandt Ridge in Saint James, MN
  • Lakeview Senior Living Apartments in Battle Lake, MN
  • The Lodge of Howard Lake in Howard Lake, MN

Congratulations! Your dedication to quality care, resident well-being, and innovation is truly inspiring!
