According to a recent communication, the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) has published a request for information (RFI) to assist in planning a potential comprehensive evaluation of current and future healthcare needs and provider capacity in Minnesota.

The information received through this RFI will assist MDH in defining the scope of the study and answering methodological questions in support of conducting the study, including development of any potential requests for proposals.

The RFI will be open to receive public comments from Friday, January 24–Friday, February 14, 2025.

Responses to the RFI can be submitted anonymously via the online Statewide Health Care Needs Capacity RFI form, or if you wish to submit your information in a fillable PDF, please email: healthsystemstudy.mdh@state.mn.us with the subject line: “Health Care Needs and Capacity RFI” or call 651-201-4573.

For more information, please visit the "Statewide Health Care Needs and Capacity" webpage. Any questions about this RFI can be sent to: healthsystemstudy.mdh@state.mn.us.

Please contact Todd Bergstrom at the Association office if you have any questions.
