Must reside in the state of Minnesota Must be willing to travel 50% of the time Provide overall leadership through coaching, encouragement, support, guidance, supervision and evaluation of the organization in carrying out the mission, vision and values of Sanford and Good Samaritan Society (GSS). Provide input into the development of wide strategic and tactical plans. Provide visionary leadership within a changing operational environment. Coach, mentor and provide servant leadership within the designated department. Model, support and encourage efforts through leadership development programs. Achieve operation simplicity, empowerment and effective change management. Ensures organizational budgeting practices meet regulatory requirements. Focus intentionally on the primary customer and commit to quality customer service and excellence in all services delivered and outcomes that meet or exceed national averages. Provide and facilitate innovation across the enterprise to enhance quality provided and to meet and exceed customer needs now and into the future. Advocate for and effectively facilitate the expertise and resources of enterprise staff and leaders for the on-going continuous quality of services provided within each region. Collaborate effectively with other service line systems and regional leaders. Inform and communicate any major issues, risks and events influencing the operations system and ways to improve the overall efficiency, quality services and mission effectiveness. Collaborate to create opportunities and solve most problems by utilizing dedicated teams working together who are proactive, innovative, and effective in using data to address quality improvement. Responsible to provide leadership in development, implementation and execution of operational strategic plans consistently. Responsible for managing Good Samaritan implementation and Sanford wide initiatives. Oversee the overall implementation, accountability, development and responsibility for the region to achieve the agreed upon outcomes. Act as the connecting point for public policy, promotion and brand presence within the region. Engagement in state organizations, committees and correspondences with representatives. Support and advance technology efforts approved within Sanford and GSS. Provide oversite and monitor region application of Sanford and GSS programs and systems maintaining compliance with federal and state reimbursement systems, applicable laws and regulations.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of seven years of executive management experience in skilled nursing, home health and/or hospice care. Working knowledge of services at home. Solid operational background in marketing development and operational understanding of diverse markets. Licensed nursing home administrator (NHA) desired.
