Legacy Commons Senior Living is a privately owned, 24-bed Assisted Living Community. As a “progressive” Assisted Living, we provide assistance for individuals who require a higher level of care. We have a ratio of one staff member to every six residents. There is no forced overtime or staffing shortages. This position is supported by an LPN, LALD (Licensed Assisted Living Director) and Executive Director. As the DON, you’d not be responsible for employee scheduling, or filling in open shifts. The DON position is Monday through Friday. No nights, holidays, overtime or weekends. On-call once a month. Legacy Commons Senior Living is searching for a full-time RN to function as the Director of Nursing. Duties would include developing and maintaining resident service plans, assessing residents for illness or injury, reviewing, updating and maintaining service plans, staff education, overseeing medication management, communicating with community and medical professionals, compliance with all state licensing criteria, and supervision of licensed and unlicensed staff.
